Meet Georg Roth, the R&D Director of Talis Group! Talis creates water and fire hydrants, network protection, isolation and control valves, house connections, and sewage solutions.
Talis needs calculations, technical drawings, and 3D models to develop these details properly.
Production of details,
Manufacturing of equipment,
Checking before assembly that everything fits in size and is ready to be made into a complete part,
Performing ANSYS calculations for pressure, strength, etc.,
Visualizing the product and rendering images for the catalog or website.

Due to the specifics of this project, we used the Kanban model: we received tasks in our backlog, provided estimates, got approval, agreed on orders, and worked on tasks one by one.

We have set up a CAD Engineering team of senior specialists with such experiences.

Our remote team is well-integrated with Talis to maintain the highest efficiency, so we have regular calls and rapid email communication. We talk to all stakeholders directly to avoid bottlenecks and miscommunication.
We have regular weekly calls with the client to revisit blockers and align with priorities.
All tasks go into the backlog; we estimate the needed efforts, approve these estimations with the customer, and then start working on the task.
Our CAD Engineers make 3D models, drawings, and calculations that go through the Windchill approval process, incorporating all comments from the task provider or reviewer.
Finally, we receive feedback after review, implement any corrections, finalize the task, and then take the next task in the backlog.
Talis utilizes drawings and 3D models to manufacture valves, hydrants, and other solutions for water flow control. These deliverables also serve as visual samples for clients, enabling them to understand what the final product will look like.
